  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline
  • Experience on testing financial systems (Billing, invoicing, currency handling, supply chain, etc.)
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action.
  • Ability to work in combination of hardware, software, and network technologies.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical information.
  • Process-oriented with ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Exceptional communication skills in order to articulate quality assurance practices.
  • Self-motivated with strong technical background, and a deep interest in product quality.
  • Ability to make decisions based on test results to advise management and customers.
  • Team-oriented individual
  • 1-2 years of QE experience in a fast-paced, agile environment (preferred)
  • Background in Quality Assurance (preferred)
  • Experience with functional and regression testing, test planning, test case development (preferred)
  • Advanced computer/technology skills/certifications (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Understanding product functionality, data content, and system architecture of the product being certified.
  • Developing test plans and updating test documentation as needed before/during/after testing.
  • Executing manual tests, tracking defects, and following defects through the resolution process until fix is verified and closed.
  • Interacting with Developers, Stakeholders and Product Management to ensure the quality of the software and billing applications.
  • Setting up and maintaining test environments and testing tools.
  • Triaging urgent problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution.
  • Analyzing logs and data to identify the root cause of issues.
  • Understanding the customer and how the product will be used by the customer.
  • Being an advocate for our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Designing and maintaining weekly smoke test.
  • Other duties as assigned
