An Associate of Science in radiologic technology or a related field is required.
At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience is required.
A California certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT) is required.
An American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license (ARRT)(R), CT license, or on-the-job equivalence is required.
Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology is required.
A valid Venipuncture Certificate is required within 6 months of hire.
A BLS certificate is required.
Competency in verbal and written communications is required.
Experience using EHR systems is required.

Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and lead radiologic technologists, sonographers, and support staff.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional development.
Coordinate and oversee scheduling of radiology personnel.
Coordinate and oversee scheduling of radiology procedures to optimize workflow.
Implement and monitor department quality measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and accrediting-body regulations, and maintain readiness for surveys.
Coordinate and provide ongoing staff training on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services.
Maintain duties as Radiation Safety Officer.
Perform examinations, including call coverage, in qualified modalities unless the department is fully staffed.
Use EHR systems.
Desired Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field is preferred.
Several years of progressive radiology experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities, is preferred.
Proven experience and ability to manage a diversified patient care service is preferred.
Mammography and/or Magnetic Imaging licensure is preferred.
