Requirements
  • Three to five years of hands-on avionics experience in general aviation, turboprop, and/or business aviation.
  • Experience troubleshooting avionics systems beyond swapping boxes.
  • Strong wiring skills, including crimping, soldering as needed, routing, lacing, shielding, and terminations.
  • Familiarity with common test equipment, including digital multimeters and ramp testers, and avionics tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and service documentation.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a busy shop.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and test aircraft avionics systems and components.
  • Perform avionics upgrades, retrofits, wiring repairs, and harness fabrication.
  • Use wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose faults efficiently and correctly.
  • Conduct operational checks, applicable pitot/static checks, and return-to-service testing.
  • Document work performed clearly and accurately in logbook entries and work orders.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and inspection teams to keep projects moving and support customer service.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow shop procedures and quality standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Cessna Citation CJ series, Citation XLS/XLS+, Citation V/Ultra/Encore, or Citation II/Bravo aircraft.
  • Experience with Embraer Phenom 100 or 300 aircraft.
  • Experience with Learjet 35/36, 40/45, or 70/75 aircraft.
  • Experience with Beechcraft King Air 90/100/200/300 series aircraft.
  • Experience with Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
  • Experience with Daher TBM 700/850/900/910/940 aircraft.
  • Garmin avionics installation and troubleshooting experience, including G1000, G3000, G5000, or GTN systems.
  • Previous experience in a Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 environment.
