Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school offering an advanced degree in Nurse Practice (ARNP) and hold a current, unrestricted California nurse practitioner license, or graduate from an ARC-PA-accredited physician assistant program and hold a current California State Physician Assistant License issued by the Physician Assistant Board under the Medical Board of California.
Hold a current DEA certificate without restriction.
Hold current ACLS certification.
Be able to prioritize and establish work standards and business goals.
Know and apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
Have thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
Provide effective verbal and written communication and proper telephone etiquette.
Provide medical services within the scope of licensing and training.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to long-term acute care patients.
Coordinate care with consulting specialists and interdisciplinary teams.
Perform admissions, daily rounds, and discharges as needed.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Desired Qualifications
Two years of related nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience is preferred.

Position Highlights

· Manage patients with complex medical needs (vent weaning, post-ICU care, multi-system chronic illness)

Requirements
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
