Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in residential, facilities, or maintenance work is required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general building maintenance is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and climbing, is required.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols, Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and military installation regulations is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Use of required personal protective equipment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on residential homes, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues to determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct move-in, move-out, and routine home inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory using company systems.
  • Communicate with residents, supervisors, and team members to support service delivery.
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, and community improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Work within occupied residential homes and outdoor community areas, with exposure to noise, dust, tools, equipment, and varying weather conditions.
  • Perform standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • HVAC, electrical, or maintenance certifications.
  • Experience working in residential housing or property management environments.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems or work-order tracking systems.
  • Experience working on or near military installations.
  • Environmental Protection Agency Universal Certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
