Requirements
  • A recognized nursing diploma is required.
  • Registration with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) is required.
  • Psychiatry experience is desired.
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including day, evening, and night shifts, is required.
  • Fluency in French is essential; English is an asset.
  • The ability to work independently is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health care to patients hospitalized in psychiatry.
  • Assess patients' psychological and physical needs and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient follow-up.
  • Administer treatments and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Participate in educating patients and their families about mental health.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in psychiatry is desired.
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
