About the job
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS, including building AWS resources using CloudFormation and interacting with them using AWS SDKs such as Ruby, Python, and Java.
- At least 5 years of object-oriented programming experience with Ruby, Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with Jenkins, creating Jenkins Pipelines, and continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience with Docker and a container orchestration tool such as Docker Compose or ECS.
- At least 5 years of Bash shell scripting experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with GitHub and any branching strategy.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language and using the AWS SDK in a supported language.
- Familiarity with architectural best practices, Jenkins Pipelines using Groovy, Puppet, Docker, maintaining containers, and the customer's operating system.
- Understanding of Docker orchestration tools such as ECS or Docker Compose.
- TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required on day one.
- Work well with teams across a range of skill levels.
- Work primarily as a software engineer to develop infrastructure-as-code solutions requiring software engineering and systems administration skills.
- Help development teams use AWS correctly.
- Support customer continuous integration and deployment efforts.
- Help manage software installations using Puppet.
- Build and maintain containers.
- Experience with Ruby, Python, or Node.js is preferred for object-oriented programming.
- Java experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Creating shared Jenkins libraries is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Mesos/Marathon is not required.
- Experience with AWS CDK is a plus but not required.

The new portfolio features PCG's customised commercial off-the-shelf rugged devices pre-installed with Nightwing's Boot Shield and Electronic Armor technologies. The integrated platform combines rugged notebooks with Intel AI-enabled processors, hot-swappable batteries and sunlight-readable displays alongside Nightwing's cyber resiliency tools. Boot Shield prevents boot-level attacks and firmware code injections, whilst Electronic Armor protects sensitive applications and data. The partnership aims to deliver secure computing solutions for mission-critical operations in extreme environments. The upcoming product range will include ruggedised laptops from 11 to 16 inches with customisable configurations.
