- At least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- A degree in Paramedicine.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
- An open Australian C Class driver's licence; a Heavy Rigid licence is desirable or the applicant must be willing to obtain one.
- Proof of the right to work in Australia.
- Current immunizations for tetanus, Hepatitis A, and Hepatitis B.
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Successful applicants must undertake a pre-employment medical and National Police Check.
- Provide first response to incidents on site.
- Assist a team of Paramedics, Nurses, and Emergency Services Officers to respond to emergency situations.
- Assist with training and health, safety, and environment activities as required.
- A Heavy Rigid Australian driver's licence is desirable or the applicant must be willing to obtain one.
