Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel or Google Sheets is required.

Responsibilities
Deliver accurate, audit-ready financial statements by the 20th of each month, with full account reconciliation and no material errors.
Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly, to ensure liquidity and visibility.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments, targeting no more than 10% variance between forecast and actual results.
Develop automated systems and workflows that reduce manual reporting time by at least 25% within the first year.
Partner with leadership to implement initiatives that increase profitability and improve EBITDA by 2 percentage points in the first 12 months.
Create and document standard operating procedures for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes.
Implement new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing by Month 6.
Produce financial dashboards and key performance indicators that support decision-making.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to align growth, cash flow, and inventory planning.
Evaluate enterprise resource planning and reporting technology solutions to prepare the company for scale.
