Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 8-10 years of professional experience with a Master's degree, or 6 years with a PhD
  • Experience in computational fluid dynamics tools like STAR-CCM+, Fun3D, Overflow, or similar
  • Proficiency in industry-standard mesh generation and CFD post-processing tools
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools like Linux/Bash, Python, C++, or Matlab
  • Experience in running sweeps of CFD runs for aircraft design trade studies
  • Experience in post-processing and extracting data from CFD databases
Responsibilities
  • Analytical modeling of aircraft using flow solutions
  • Generating high-quality CFD meshes from CAD surfaces
  • Supporting design trade studies with CFD data
  • Enhancing the CFD team's tools by evaluating and onboarding new aerodynamics tools
  • Analyzing and interpreting experimental and computational data
  • Supporting ground and flight test activities
  • Generating data for aero smoothness specification
