Requirements
  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Project Manager, or in technical sales involving custom electro-mechanical solutions.
  • Familiarity with direct current and alternating current power systems at low- and medium-voltage levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, including Office 365.
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements and create clear, accurate solutions.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, international team setting.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare technical estimates, quotations, and solutions for traction power substations and electrified rail applications.
  • Engage directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions and presentations while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Provide support on direct-current and alternating-current products, including direct-current switchgear, high-speed breakers and panels, rectifiers, power converters, voltage-limiting devices, multifunction protection relays, and custom electromechanical solutions.
  • Develop a strategic business plan to build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities, and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Lead responses to requests for proposals and requests for information and stay informed about market trends.
  • Attend trade associations, conferences, and client events to represent the company and educate stakeholders about product advancements.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred; mechanical engineering or relevant technical experience will also be considered.
  • Three or more years of experience in power distribution, switchgear manufacturing, or similar roles is preferred.
