Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Nine years of experience in events marketing.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience managing external creative, production, or experiential agencies and vendor ecosystems.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the goal, planning, and execution for marquee YouTube flagship events, including Brandcast, aligning event objectives with broader business priorities and YouTube brand strategy.
  • Drive experiential design, spatial branding, interactive product demonstrations, and VIP hospitality activations that reflect the YouTube creator economy.
  • Direct and inspire creative, production, technical, and experiential agencies; author Statements of Work, negotiate Master Service Agreements, enforce service-level agreements, and hold external partners to high standards of craft and operational excellence.
  • Manage project budgets through fiscal forecasting, vendor reconciliations, and resource allocation.
  • Define success metrics, lead post-event return-on-investment analyses, and present actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Establish contingency plans, live show run-downs, and protocol risk mitigations for high-visibility live broadcasts and venues with thousands of attendees.
  • Lead development and execution of high-profile, high-stakes flagship moments, including YouTube Brandcast, creator summits, industry tentpole events, and internal events.
  • Orchestrate multi-million-dollar budgets, direct production and creative agencies, partner with talent and creators, and influence Google and YouTube executives to deliver brand moments that drive measurable business results.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading executive-facing, high-capacity live shows, such as Upfronts, arena keynotes, broadcast specials, or global tier-one industry conferences.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar event budgets and leading large-scale agency ecosystems from request for proposal through reconciliation.
