  • 3+ years professional experience with expertise in car production, including ability to achieve stable production processes.
  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Skillful at organizational navigation and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; ability to develop effective partnerships and relationships.
  • Creative and strategic problem solver who exercises sound judgment.
  • Leadership experience.
Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and retain an exceptional team.
  • Motivate and develop team members, fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Identify training opportunities and implement training plans to improve overall organizational capability.
  • Lead a team to coordinate parts trials, show car builds and overarching activities within pilot hall.
  • Collaborate to ensure new product introductions work flawlessly.
  • Manage the pre-series problem tracking, rework and buy-off process.
  • Plan and acquire equipment and services.
  • Ensure timely delivery of pre-series show cars.
  • Conduct part trial as a part of the PPAP process (Pre-Production Parts Approval Process).
  • Provide short term solutions while validating and implementing long term ones.
  • Attain and sustain quality, volume, and cost goals.
  • Minimize downtime, scrap, and rework cost.
  • Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity for the Pilot Hall.
  • Evaluate change and deviation requests.
  • Submit annual administrative, operational, and capital budget. Manage budget for Pilot Hall.
