Responsibilities
- Provide consultations to new and returning patients regarding product selection, dosing, and methods of consumption.
- Assess patient needs and ensure appropriate education for safe medication use.
- Answer clinical and therapeutic questions with evidence-based guidance.
- Support patient understanding of potential benefits, risks, and responsible use.
- Ensure full compliance with Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program rules and regulations.
- Verify patient eligibility and program compliance before dispensing.
- Monitor each medical transaction within the dispensary for safety and regulatory accuracy.
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with Department of Health standards.
- Maintain readiness for scheduled and unscheduled regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with dispensary leadership to uphold safe dispensing practices.
- Assist with workflow coordination to maintain patient care standards during peak volume.
- Support cross-functional tasks when appropriate, including patient greeting and floor presence.
- Serve as a clinical resource for dispensary staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical marijuana dispensary.
- Advanced knowledge of cannabinoid pharmacology and drug interactions.
- Experience in regulated healthcare or retail pharmacy environments.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
