Galderma presents new three-year Nemluvio data showing deep and lasting skin lesion and itch responses in patients with atopic dermatitis aged 12 and older. Published on 10/08/2026 at 07:20 am EDT S&P Capital IQ Galderma announced new data regarding the use of Nemluvio for atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis to be presented at the 2026 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference, taking place from October 08-11 in Las Vegas, United States. This includes a new post-hoc analysis from the ARCADIA LTE study showing that in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older who achieved an early response at Week 16 in the ARCADIA trial, Nemluvio achieved deep and lasting skin lesion and itch responses for up to three years. New post-hoc data from the ongoing ARCADIA LTE study showed that adults and adolescents aged =12 years with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis who achieved an early clinical response with Nemluvio in the ARCADIA trials, were able to maintain deep and lasting improvements in both skin lesions and itch response through Week 152. The analysis evaluated 295 patients who achieved a clinical response at Week 16 and continued treatment during the maintenance and LTE phases of the study. Deep skin clearance was assessed by the proportion of participants achieving an IGA score of 0 or 1, and those with a more than 90% or 100% improvement from the initial baseline in the EASI score. Among these early responders at one year (Week 56), 77% achieved clear skin or at least a 90% improvement in disease severity. This was maintained up to Week 152, where 76% achieved clear (IGA 0) or almost clear skin (IGA 1), and 80% achieved at least a 90% improvement in disease severity (EASI-90) and 50% achieved complete skin clearance (EASI-100). In addition, at Week 152, 80% achieved an itch-free or nearly itch-free state. Nemluvio was well tolerated, with no new safety signals. The data are consistent with the previously collected safety and efficacy data regarding Nemluvio in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. These findings further strengthen the growing body of evidence supporting the long-term efficacy of Nemluvio and its potential to deliver lasting disease control across key symptoms of atopic dermatitis. A separate pre-specified interim analysis of the overall ARCADIA LTE population assessed the long-term safety and efficacy of Nemluvio in 1,903 adults and adolescents aged =12 years with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. At Week 152, Nemluvio was well-tolerated and associated with sustained efficacy, including improvements in skin lesions, itch, sleep disturbance and quality of life. Based on observed case analyses: Up to 91% of patients achieved at least 75% improvement in eczema severity (EASI-75), and up to 75% achieved at least 90% improvement in eczema severity (EASI-90); Up to 67% of patients achieved clear or almost clear skin (IGA 0/1); Up to 88% of patients achieved clinically meaningful itch relief and up to 73% achieved an itch-free or nearly itch-free state; Up to 92% of patients achieved clinically meaningful improvements in dermatology-related quality of life. The safety profile of Nemluvio remained consistent with previous findings through three years of treatment, with no new safety signals identified compared to previous long-term extension study interim analyses. Galderma will also present clinical results from a phase II study designed to assess the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy of nemolizumab in children (aged 2 to 11 years) with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. Results showed that nemolizumab pediatric doses were associated with similar pharmacokinetic exposure compared to adults and adolescents, and were well tolerated and effective in children, with clinically meaningful reductions in skin lesions and itch through Week 16 and sustained up to Week 52. A separate descriptive analysis from the OLYMPIA LTE study showed that Nemluvio also delivered sustained and clinically meaningful improvements across multiple dimensions of prurigo nodularis burden through Week 148, including itch, pain, sleep disturbance, quality of life and overall health status. At Week 48, out of 508 enrolled patients: More than 85% of patients achieved clinically meaningful itch improvement, with about three-quarters of patients achieving an itch-free or nearly itch-free state; 60% reported no prurigo nodularis-associated pain; 85% achieved clinically meaningful improvements in sleep disturbance; 91% experienced clinically meaningful improvements in quality of life; The safety profile of Nemluvio remained consistent with previous findings through three years of treatment, with no new safety signals identified compared to previous long-term extension study interim analyses. Nemolizumab is the first approved monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits the signaling of IL-31? a neuroimmune cytokine that drives itch and is involved in inflammation, epidermal dysregulation and fibrosis in both atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis. Paradise Medspa's Dr. Weiss previews two next-gen neuromodulators set to reshape the aesthetic injectables market. October 02, 2026, 23:22 GMT New Botulinum Toxin Type E and a Ready-to-Use, Long-Lasting Formula from Galderma Signal a New Era of Customizable Tox Treatments PHOENIX, AZ, UNITED STATES, October 2, 2026 / EINPresswire.com / - PHOENIX, AZ - Dr. Rebecca Weiss, DO, board-certified physician and medical director of Paradise Medspa, is giving patients and industry peers an early look at two emerging neuromodulator treatments currently progressing through FDA review; innovations she believes could change how aesthetic providers approach wrinkle-relaxing treatments in the years ahead. The announcement came during Dr. Weiss's latest installment of "Thirsty Thursday With Dr. Weiss," a casual, educational video series where she breaks down the latest developments in aesthetic medicine directly from the Paradise Medspa office in Phoenix, Arizona. A Faster-Acting, Short-Duration Option: Bont E The first product, known as Bont E (Botulinum toxin type E), is being developed by the makers of Botox and represents a departure from the Botulinum toxin type A formulas that currently dominate the market. According to Dr. Weiss, Bont E works by cleaving the SNAP-25 protein at a different point than type A toxins, resulting in an onset of the desired aesthetic effects in 8-24 hours, significantly quicker than current options. It is important to know that the tradeoff of Bont E is duration: results are expected to last only about two weeks. Dr. Weiss suggests this profile could make Bont E an ideal option for: Quick touch-ups between full treatment cycles Patients in need of fast-acting results Neuromodulator-naive patients wanting a low-commitment "preview" before committing to longer-lasting treatments A Ready-Mixed, Long-Lasting Formula: Relfydess The second product, referred to in early reporting as Relfydess, is being developed by Galderma, the company behind Dysport. Unlike traditional freeze-dried toxins that require reconstitution, Relfydess will arrive pre-mixed in solution, a manufacturing advance Dr. Weiss notes could improve consistency across practices and providers. Clinical data cited by Dr. Weiss in the episode suggests Relfydess kicks in within a couple of days and may deliver results lasting up to six months in some patients, positioning it as a potential long-duration alternative to existing options like Daxxify. Both Products Still Awaiting FDA Clearance Dr. Weiss noted that both manufacturers received requests from the FDA for additional data before proceeding to market, a standard part of the regulatory process. She anticipates the products may become available as early as 2027, pending final approval. "I think I'm not concerned really about the safety of either of these two products," said Dr. Weiss. "I do think that there was a reason the FDA was asking for additional information just related to the manufacturing process... once they can prove that they've gone through all of those checks and balances, then hopefully this product is going to be released to market." Rethinking Reconstitution Practices Dr. Weiss also used the segment to address a growing conversation in the injector community around how neuromodulators are prepared. While many practices use bacteriostatic saline for patient comfort during reconstitution, she referenced insights from a recent industry lecture suggesting normal saline - the standard used in original clinical trials - may better preserve product efficacy, with some reports estimating up to a 20% difference. She says Paradise Medspa plans to explore this further through internal comparison testing. Galderma's $650 million bet on U.S. manufacturing captures Europe's new investment playbook | Fortune. Good morning. The English are coming. So are the Dutch, Germans, Danish, Swiss and other Europeans driving growth in foreign direct investment in the U.S. right now. FDI rose by $266 billion to $5.86 trillion at the end of 2025, with Europe accounting for much of the increase and manufacturing remaining the largest target. V3 Media know why it's happening: Companies want access to the world's deepest consumer market and pool of capital, along with U.S. talent - and, of course, manufacturing on American soil is a hedge against tariffs. It's good news for policymakers looking for tangible wins. Several European CEOs have told me their goal is to build deeply-rooted American businesses. Galderma is a case in point. The Swiss dermatology company, whose brands range from Cetaphil and Alastin to injectable fillers such as Sculptra and Restylane, generated $5.24 billion in revenue last year. The U.S. accounted for 40% of those sales and is its fastest-growing market. Galderma announced last year that it will invest more than $650 million in U.S. manufacturing through 2030. "If you want to succeed, you have to succeed in the U.S.," CEO Flemming Ørnskov told me. Ørnskov's first priority was access to R&D talent. "The business was in Fort Worth, and I said, 'If we want to be competing against Sanofi and everybody else, let's move it to Boston.'" (The French drugmaker Sanofi's Dupixent competes with Galderma's Nemluvio in treating skin conditions such as eczema.) Galderma's big competitive target is AbbVie-owned Allergan Aesthetics, the U.S. injectables leader that makes Botox and Juvéderm. "Until we have closed the gap to Allergan in market share, I won't think we've succeeded,"said Ørnskov. That's why geography matters: For Galderma's U.S. headquarters, he picked Miami because it serves a fast-growing consumer market and is a gateway to Latin America. He's also building a presence in Orange County, Calif., because, he says, "the aesthetic business is dependent on expertise and that expertise is so concentrated there." Fort Worth remains an important distribution hub. Of course, there are also some challenges for companies seeking a foothold in the U.S., Ørnskov said: "The bar for aesthetic products approval is the highest in the U.S. - by far the highest - and it's become even tougher... but it's such an important market that we have to do whatever it takes." But CEOs have less discretion in public utilities, steel, shipbuilding, railways, and gas transmission.
