Key Account Manager

The fundamental purpose of this role is to represent Mettler-Toledo as a strategic technical partner and spearhead our growth strategy for top-tier biopharmaceutical accounts in South Korea.

As a senior individual contributor, this position will be responsible for managing relationships with critical accounts, driving complex sales cycles, and securing long-term partnerships. As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders at top-tier biopharma, this position will ensure our solutions align with their production, research, and regulatory requirements.

Serving as the commercial lead for the Process Analytics division, this role carries the broader mandate of driving the entire Mettler-Toledo business portfolio within our most critical key accounts.

1. Dominance in Process Analytics (PA) Integration

Outcome: Establishing Mettler-Toledo’s PA sensors as the "gold standard" in the client’s bioprocessing units.

Strategic Focus: Moving beyond transactional hardware sales to become embedded in the client's design phase and SOPs for new facility build-outs or line expansions.

2. Multi-Divisional "Share of Wallet" Expansion

Outcome: Driving significant revenue growth across divisions (e.g., Lab and Industrial) by leveraging the access and trust established through the PRO division.

Strategic Focus: Mapping the client's organizational chart to identify unmet needs in R&D, Quality Control, and Logistics, and providing the full MT value proposition to satisfy those requirements.

3. Strategic "Trusted Advisor" Positioning

Outcome: Becoming the primary point of contact for the client’s high-level technical and operational leadership, making it increasingly difficult for competitors to displace Mettler-Toledo.

Strategic Focus: Anticipating the client’s long-term business goals—such as scaling up production, compliance with international regulatory standards, or digital transformation—and proactively aligning MT solutions to help them achieve these goals.
