Requirements

  • Be an active member in good standing of the OIIQ and hold a valid practice permit.
Responsibilities
  • Assess the health status of patients admitted to Medicine and provide rigorous clinical monitoring.
  • Plan, provide, and coordinate nursing care for patients in acute or short-stay care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, and rehabilitation professionals, to optimize treatment plans.
  • Respond effectively to clinical emergencies according to established protocols.
  • Maintain patient medical records and ensure smooth handoffs during shift changes.
