Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field with at least three years of demonstrated success in supervision or manufacturing technical support, or five to ten years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or process improvement.
  • Strong leadership and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean processes, tools, and one-piece flow.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong experience with Oracle JDE.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic cost accounting concepts.
  • Ability to move around and remain still, use hands to handle objects, carry tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
  • Ability to occasionally lift an average of 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to wear safety glasses and utilize required safety equipment while present on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the value stream in achieving the sales plan and targeted on-time delivery, track and report progress against lead time, throughput, quality, and cost, identify bottlenecks affecting key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote, monitor, and ensure a safe work environment; perform safety audits and support incident investigations; and identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with supply chain and warehousing teams to implement a material pull process and develop or improve kanban, outside processing, and point-of-use material processes.
  • Develop current, future, and next-state value stream maps; drive value stream transformation to enhance operational excellence; and lead Lean initiatives using tools such as value stream mapping and standard work.
  • Oversee daily management to ensure collaboration across operations, quality, engineering, finance, and customer service; facilitate communication and alignment to address tactical daily issues and longer-term strategic initiatives within the value stream.
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning to improve inventory management and customer service, reduce waste, and support capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Coach and mentor team members on continuous improvement and foster a culture of accountability and ongoing development.
  • Oversee routine 5S activities to maintain clean and orderly staging of materials throughout work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

IDEX extends $800M credit facility maturity to 2031

IDEX Corporation has amended its revolving credit facility, extending the maturity date to September 3, 2031, from the previous November 1, 2027. The facility maintains its $800 million principal amount. The agreement, finalised on September 3, 2026, allows for up to $100 million in letters of credit and $50 million in same-day swingline loans. IDEX may request additional lending commitments, capped at a $400 million increase. Bank of America serves as administrative agent, with JPMorgan Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank as co-syndication agents. The proceeds will fund working capital and general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. The agreement includes standard covenants for senior unsecured credit facilities, featuring a quarterly-tested leverage ratio and restrictions on liens and mergers. Voluntary prepayments are permitted without penalty.

IDEX leads gas and liquid handling stocks with strong Q2 results, shares up 4.3%
