REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of directly-related work experience; or high school diploma or equivalent and 7 years of directly related work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient computer skills and a strong working knowledge of MS Office software
Collaborative team member who is also able to work independently to solve complex problems
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in line with an overall mission towards student success
Understanding of, and commitment to, assisting students in their transition to college
Knowledge of effective strategies for programmatic assessment
Ability to foster a collaborative environment across organizational lines with a variety of constituents
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information to a variety of audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in higher education administration, college student development, or related field
Demonstrated experience with academic initiatives supporting undergraduate education
Proven student-centered and customer-service oriented professionalism
Experience developing and implementing assessment and evaluation in achieving continuous programmatic improvements.
