Requirements
  • No previous work experience is required.
  • Candidates must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time frequently.

Responsibilities
  • Use a microscope and small knives or hand tools to remove burrs, rough edges, curls, or ridges caused by machining from small parts such as screws.
  • Use measuring tools, including calipers, gauges, and comparators, to check dimensional accuracy.
  • Follow all safety and work procedures carefully.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Report equipment or material issues to a supervisor or lead.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Microscope and/or small-part experience.

Tecomet and Orchid merge to create global MedTech and aerospace manufacturing platform

Tecomet and Orchid Orthopedic Solutions have completed their merger, creating a global manufacturing platform serving MedTech and aerospace and defence customers. The combined company will operate under the Tecomet name, with Andreas Weller serving as CEO. The merged entity operates 24 manufacturing locations across multiple countries, offering capabilities including precision machining, additive manufacturing, forging, casting and advanced finishing. The combination aims to provide customers with more comprehensive manufacturing services, expanded design capabilities and a more resilient global supply base.
