Foresite launches managed services for Wiz, reaching Premier tier in the Wiz Partner Alliance Services Program.

Foresite launches managed services for Wiz, reaching Premier tier in the Wiz Partner Alliance Services Program. Sep 28, 2026, 09:15 ET Foresite builds on its experience deploying and operating the Google Cloud security stack by extending that same approach to Wiz, now part of Google Cloud - helping customers turn cloud risk findings into coordinated action. OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Foresite Cybersecurity, the 2026 Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year for North America, today announced the expansion of its cloud security services to include Wiz, alongside its achievement of Premier tier in the Wiz Partner Alliance Services Program and participation in the Wiz Partner Alliance Managed Service Provider Program. The expansion builds on Foresite's experience deploying and operating the Google Cloud security stack, helping enterprises connect cloud risk management with security operations. By combining the power of Wiz's cloud and AI security platform with Google Cloud's security portfolio, Foresite helps enterprises translate those capabilities into a cohesive security program. By connecting cloud security and SOC teams through shared context, coordinated workflows and clear ownership, Foresite helps customers move from identifying cloud risk to investigating threats and taking action. Foresite's services span assessment, implementation and ongoing operations across the Wiz AI Application Protection Platform (AI-APP). Enterprises can engage Foresite to strengthen existing deployments, introduce new capabilities or manage day-to-day platform operations, with services tailored to their environment and priorities. Organizations looking to deploy or operate Wiz can learn more and request a Wiz Health Check at foresite.com/wiz. A central part of this approach is the integration of Wiz with Google Security Operations, connecting cloud risk findings and runtime detections with SOC investigation and response. Foresite supports these operations around the clock through 24/7 managed detection and response operated from its Cyber Fusion Centers, combining automated investigation with practitioner oversight of high-impact response actions. Foresite's Premier designation and participation in Wiz's Managed Service Program reflects its investment in delivery expertise across the Wiz platform and its completed customer engagements. "The opportunity is to connect what teams know about cloud risk with how they investigate and respond to threats," said Jeremy Hehl, Chief Evangelist at Foresite. "We're building on our experience across Google Cloud security to help customers bring Wiz into that operating model, with the expertise to deploy it and the ongoing support to make it effective." Key benefits include: * Complete visibility and onboarding: Foresite fully deploys and manages Wiz to deliver agentless visibility across your cloud and AI environments. * Expert risk prioritization: Using the Wiz Security Graph, Foresite analysts evaluate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, identities, and data exposures to turn security context into clear, actionable priorities. * Accelerated remediation: By pairing direct remediation support with the Wiz platform, Foresite resolves critical risks at the root cause and continuously enforces compliance, without slowing innovation. "As AI models change how software is built and secured, security teams must now adapt their operating models to defend at machine speed. Wiz provides the context-driven cloud and AI security to protect everything organizations build and run," said Andy Ritchie, Vice President, Global Channels and Alliances, Wiz. "Our partners are critical to delivering this value, and the Premier tier represents the absolute highest level of technical competency, training, and accreditation in the Wiz platform. Foresite has proven their deep commitment to this standard, rapidly qualifying their engineers to ensure our joint customers have a trusted partner to defend their operations day to day." Brian Carlton, Global Director, Partner Solutions Architecture, Wiz, said "Context is what makes cloud risk actionable, and the Wiz Security Graph is where that context lives. What sets Foresite apart is that the team deploying Wiz is also the team running the security operations. For most organizations those are two separate programs, and the gap between them is where cloud security often stalls." Proof in production OpenVPN, whose connectivity products protect networks for businesses worldwide, has standardized its cloud security on Wiz, deployed and operated by Foresite. Running production workloads across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, OpenVPN needed protection built for a multi-cloud estate: one view of risk across every environment, code security that catches problems before they ship, and runtime detection tied to real response. Foresite engineered Wiz's Cloud, Code and Defend as a phased rollout, with coverage validated at each layer before the next began, and now operates the platform as a managed service alongside the security operations it has run for OpenVPN on Google SecOps since 2025. "Our production estate spans more than one cloud, and the risk that matters is rarely confined to one of them. We chose Wiz because the Security Graph gives us one picture of that risk, and we chose Foresite to engineer and run it because they already operated our security operations on Google Security Operations and understood how findings needed to reach the people who act on them," said Brian Litzinger, Chief Information Security Officer at OpenVPN. "The phased rollout meant every layer was proven before the next one went live. What changed with continuous operations is that cloud risk stopped being a report we review and became part of how our SOC investigates and responds in Google Security Operations every day. For a lean security team, that is the difference between knowing about exposure and closing it." About Foresite Cybersecurity Foresite Cybersecurity is a Google Cloud Premier Partner with Security and MSSP specializations, the 2026 Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year for North America, and a Premier-tier Partner in the Wiz Partner Alliance Managed Service Provider Program, providing managed security operations, compliance automation, and threat intelligence services. Through its Catalyst platform - independently attested to SOC 2 Type II and certified to ISO/IEC 27001, Foresite operationalizes agentic AI security with practitioner-led governance: autonomous investigation at machine speed, named-practitioner validation of every high-impact action. Google cybersecurity arm finds critical hospital exposures.

Google cybersecurity arm finds critical hospital exposures. By: Giles Bruce Google cybersecurity subsidiary Wiz has launched Scan for Good, an AI-driven initiative that has already uncovered critical security exposures at a public hospital and a private hospital. The program pairs Wiz's AI-powered Red Agent penetration-testing tool with Google DeepMind's Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber model to scan public-facing websites, APIs and applications for exploitable weaknesses at critical infrastructure, public services, healthcare organizations and nonprofits. Wiz, which Google acquired earlier this year for $32 billion, built Scan for Good in partnership with Google DeepMind and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. At one public hospital, missing access controls exposed staff contact information and let anyone online control the hospital's mobile alert channel, Wiz said in a Sept. 24 blog post. At a private hospital, an unsecured upload feature on a public appointment-booking site let attackers control a hospital server and expose patient identifiers, clinical records and consent signatures. Wiz worked with both organizations to fix the flaws before publishing the findings and did not name either hospital. "Defensive vulnerability discovery helps strengthen the nation's digital infrastructure," stated acting CISA Director Nick Andersen. Beyond healthcare, Scan for Good has also flagged exposures at a national archive, a municipal data system, a public rail operator and several major technology platforms, according to Wiz. The company plans to publish anonymized findings on vulnerability patterns as the program expands. Synack integrates with Wiz to unify pentest findings alongside cloud security data.

Synack integrates with Wiz to unify pentest findings alongside cloud security data. The integration exports vulnerabilities discovered through the Synack PTaaS Platform into Wiz, giving security teams a single source of truth to track findings. September 23, 2026 08:00 ET | Source: Synack REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Synack, the AI + human penetration testing platform for continuous security validation, today announced an integration with Wiz. The integration exports vulnerabilities discovered through the Synack Platform directly into Wiz's Penetration Test Findings view, which is part of Wiz's Unified Vulnerability Management. The integration lets Synack customers connect their Synack and Wiz environments and filter vulnerability findings by severity or tag, on a one-time or recurring daily basis. Each finding carries full context, including CWE classification, status, and first-seen and last-updated timestamps. Once connected, Synack's findings appear alongside vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs, third-party audits, internal red team exercises, and Wiz's own Red Agent and AI-driven pentest scanning in a single Penetration Test Findings view inside Wiz. This gives security teams one place to track, prioritize and remediate results, regardless of where they originated. For teams already using Wiz to manage cloud risk, the integration removes a manual step in tracking penetration test results. Because Synack supports daily exports, vulnerability findings stay current in Wiz rather than reflecting a single point-in-time snapshot. "Security teams are drowning in tools that each show a different slice of risk," said Angela Heindl-Schober, Chief Marketing Officer at Synack. "Bringing Synack's findings into Wiz provides teams a central platform to see what's been tested and validated." Synack pairs Sara AI Pentesting with the Synack Red Team, a vetted global community of security researchers, to continuously test environments and validate exploitable risk. The Wiz integration extends that data into the tools security teams already rely on for cloud risk management, supporting a continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) approach where validation feeds into discovery, prioritization and remediation. About Synack Synack is the AI + human penetration testing platform for continuous security validation. Sara AI Pentesting combines agentic AI with the Synack Red Team, a rigorously vetted global community of security researchers, to expand testing coverage and prove real-world exploitability. The Synack Platform gives organizations control and visibility across testing activity, validated findings and remediation status. Synack supports point-in-time and continuous penetration testing across web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud and host infrastructure, internal environments and AI or LLM systems. Founded by former NSA operatives, Synack has enabled nearly 10 million hours of security testing to protect critical assets across enterprise, public-sector and highly regulated environments. Andreessen Horowitz ramps up Israel activity.

Andreessen Horowitz ramps up Israel activity. Marc Andreessen, Asaf Ezra, Yoav Winer credit: Reuters-Beck Diefenbach, PR, Eyal Izhar 7 Sep, 2026 13:06 Since leading Wiz's last round before it was sold, the US firm has taken steps to ensure it will catch future Israeli unicorns at earlier stages. Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), one of the world's largest venture capital firms, has significantly stepped up its activity in Israel in the past six months, particularly after the completion of the Google's $32 billion acquisition of Israeli cybersecurity company Wiz. The firm has some $100 billion under management, and was one of the first investors in Instagram, SpaceX, Facebook, OpenAI and Airbnb. "Globes" has learned that it has moved up a gear in Israel by recruiting several key people in the country and outside of it. The firm has brought in Granulate co-founder Asaf Ezra as a partner responsible for investment in young companies in cybersecurity and AI infrastructure, and it has doubled its local scouting network for identifying early-stage companies. Andreessen Horowitz led the last funding round by Wiz before it was sold, amounting to $1 billion at a valuation of $12 billion, and subsequently sold its stake in the company for a return of between 2.5 and 3 times its investment. Smaller venture capital firms, such as Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Sequoia Capital, invested in Wiz at earlier stages and made larger gains. It may be that Andreessen Horowitz, which has had fairly minor activity in Israel so far in comparison with other major US firms, wants to make sure that promising younger Israeli companies will not escape the notice of its partners. Ezra, who lives in New York, is the first Israeli to be appointed a partner at Andreessen Horowitz. In 2018, he founded Granulate, developer of a system that facilitates control over development processes on the cloud and in the past was ranked in "Globes'" list of Most Promising Startups. In March 2022, Ezra sold Ganulate, of which he was CEO, to Intel for $650 million, in one of the biggest exits in Israel that year. Intel struggled to integrate Ganulate, and as its management crisis grew, it looked for a buyer for the company. When it failed to find one, the company shut down. Despite this, Ezra and his former partner Tal Sayag are remembered in the technology industry as people who made an exit at large multiples just before interest rates in the US began to rise and sources of finance for the industry began to dry up. Ezra moved to New York late last year. In the past eighteen months he has maintained contact with one of the senior partners at Andreessen Horowitz, Zane Lackey, another serial entrepreneur, who founded and sold Signal Sciences before joining the firm. The two men decided to explore possible collaboration, which in the end led to Ezra's appointment as a partner in May. Ezra currently manages investment in young startup companies in cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and artificial intelligence, at the initial "seed" stage, and in the A and B rounds held at early stages, sometimes up to the start of sales. Ezra can also invest in companies unconnected to Israel, but he is expected to exploit his network of connections from his time in the IDF Talpiot program, in technology units in the army, and at Intel, to make most of his investments in Israeli companies and in companies with Israeli founders. Not to miss out on potential Besides the appointment of Ezra, Andreessen Horowitz has taken another strategic step, doubling its local scouting team. This network comprises serial entrepreneurs or former entrepreneurs, and angel investors, among them well-known names in the local industry such as Yoav Wilner, co-founder and CEO of Walnut; Yochay Ettun, co-founder and former CEO of cnvrg.io, which was sold to Intel; Guy Zipori, formerly vice president of R&D at Melio; and Michael (Mikey) Weiss, who has held CFO positions at startup companies. An intriguing recent appointment as a scout by Andreessen Horowitz is that of Noa Zilberman, co-founder of Odo Security (sold to Check Point), who is prominent on social media. Besides these, four other scouts operate below the radar without mentioning it on their professional profits on social media. Some of them have been active for over a year. Compared with the scouting activity of other venture capital firms, this is a large and senior group. By this means, Andreessen Horowitz seeks to ensure that it will not miss out on companies with the potential of becoming unicorns. While Ezra will invest millions of dollars in a small number of companies and bring them the benefit of the firm's marketing and operating capabilities, the scouts are fairly free to invest small amounts, generally in the tens of thousands of dollars, in a company in exchange for a small stake. Yoav Wilner, who has himself made several angel investments in companies such as Talon and NewCore, was appointed a scout by Andreessen Horowitz in May. "We're looking for companies in growing fields such as data infrastructure and artificial intelligence, and we make small investments in a way that is reminiscent of angel investment," he says. Learning lessons Andreessen Horowitz is a latecomer to the Israeli market. Smaller firms such as Insight Partners, Sequoia, Greylock, and Lightspeed have each invested in dozens of Israeli companies, including at the seed stage, and have made handsome returns on their money. Like many of these firms, Andreessen Horowitz has no physical presence in Israel, but works through partners based in the US or elsewhere. The firm maintains a new investment strategy that takes into account the required investment in purchasing graphics processors. Besides the investment in Wiz, it is invested in unicorns with looser connections to Israel, such as Deel, which was founded by US-Israeli entrepreneur Alex Bouaziz and has a development center in Israel, and in WeWork founder Adam Neumann's real estate company Flow. The firm is invested in several fairly young Israeli companies such as Neo Security, Limy, Pinecone and Argu AI. No response was forthcoming from Andreessen Horowitz or Asaf Ezra.
