Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent digital literacy with the ability to rapidly learn and use a variety of software tools as needed.
  • Familiarity with analog/digital circuit architecture and design including typical avionics interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Windchill.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical design and integration skills using CAD software (Visio and OrCAD preferred).
  • Experience collaborating in small, cross-discipline teams on fast-paced projects.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
  • Own the design and development of EGSE and STE.
  • Use software tools to generate detailed and accurate diagrams and drawings for the designs.
  • Focus design on enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Mitigate technical challenges, ensuring that the designed equipment supports intended usage.
  • Champion compliance of industry standards in the development, verification, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
  • Actively drive continual improvement and optimization of electrical equipment design practices and team standards, emphasizing reliability, performance, and safety.
