Salary Range: 143640 to 197640 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

The Product Platform group is dedicated to providing strategic building blocks to accelerate Plaid’s product development. Think of this group as Plaid’s Plaid. It consists of teams that are responsible for owning all of Plaid’s key services while making them reliable and highly productive to work with. We also have a team that is building out a new risk and compliance engine that allows us to seamlessly onboard customers while ensuring compliance with new and existing regulations. We also design the interfaces, data models and pipelines that provide Plaid’s product teams access to high-quality data on which they can build insights for customers.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with a highly iterative, cross-functional team to understand product requirements to build Plaid’s next-generation products, as well as the interfaces and data models that power these products.
You will own and lead projects, step up as a trusted member of the team’s on-call rotation, advocate for technical and process changes, and follow best practices to increase overall system reliability.
You will provide the right building blocks, interfaces and abstractions to accelerate Plaid’s product development.
You’ll work across a swath of stakeholders, while thinking of the “big picture” and driving impact.
You’ll also collaborate with Product, Design, Support, Marketing, and Data Engineering to serve our shared mission.

Qualifications

3+ years of industry experience
Strong programming skills with the interest and ability to work across the stack.
Proven track record of shipping successful projects
Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
[Nice to have] Experience with Golang, Typescript, and Python
