About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in business-to-business software-as-a-service implementation or solutions, ideally with enterprise or mid-market accounts.
  • Independently owned and delivered complex business-to-business software-as-a-service implementations end-to-end at the account level, not only individual modules.
  • Experience implementing software of comparable complexity; industry-specific or software-specific experience is required, ideally in manufacturing, quality management, or similar process-heavy or regulated environments.
  • Ability to design workflows, manage multi-stakeholder delivery, and handle escalations without senior hand-holding.
  • Comfort using low-code or no-code tools.
  • Ability to produce clean written output, including account summaries, handoff documentation, and implementation plans.
  • Comfort working with United States-based enterprise customers and late-hour working patterns.
  • Hands-on ownership of implementation outcomes rather than status updates.
  • Ability to design before configuring by asking the right questions first.
  • Ability to manage scope creep and push back on customers when appropriate.
  • Ability to surface risks before they become crises.
  • Ability to write clear, confident documentation that serves as a team asset.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full implementation lifecycle for assigned accounts, including kickoff, milestone tracking, risk management, go-live, and structured post-go-live support.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for customer outcomes across assigned accounts.
  • Manage multi-stakeholder delivery and make routine decisions without escalating to founders or Leadership.
  • Handle scope changes, customer pushback, and at-risk implementations.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into scalable configurations across multiple modules.
  • Lead discovery, validate requirements, anticipate edge cases, and design scalable workflows.
  • Push back on customer requests when the proposed approach will not scale and document the decision.
  • Drive documentation hygiene and validation readiness across assigned accounts.
  • Review and maintain quality standards for work produced by Junior Implementation Leads and Implementation Executives.
  • Produce account-level handoff summaries for Customer Success.
  • Build playbooks, templates, and checklists that the team actively uses.
  • Run steering meetings, align senior stakeholders, and manage expectations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and surface problems early.
  • Maintain customer relationships through complex and high-pressure implementations.
  • Provide structured coaching to Junior Implementation Leads through documented goals, regular check-ins, and measurable development.
  • Develop Junior Implementation Leads from module-level ownership toward account-level readiness.
  • Review Junior Implementation Lead deliverables and provide actionable feedback.
  • Identify implementation patterns, standardize approaches, and build reusable assets.
  • Define and maintain implementation standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering to close platform issues and defects on time.
  • Independently run account-level implementations with minimal Leadership involvement.
  • Ship improved templates or processes that the team actively uses.
  • Provide clean, structured handoffs to Customer Success across accounts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience mentoring or formally coaching junior implementation team members.
  • Experience building and shipping reusable playbooks, templates, or checklists adopted by a team.
  • Exposure to regulated industries, including manufacturing, life sciences, quality management systems, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Experience running structured post-go-live or hypercare programs.
  • Experience pushing back on founders, senior stakeholders, or customers with evidence while maintaining the relationship.

About the company

Unifize helps organizations uncover and reduce the hidden cost of cross-functional coordination, called coordination tax, by providing a shared system of record across ERP, QMS, PLM, and MES. It captures coordination in governed threads that keep decisions, evidence, and completion linked, and uses AI to show how processes actually work compared to how they’re documented. Unlike others, it targets coordination cost and creates a unified, process-driven record—fitting the software to the process rather than the opposite. Its goal is to prove value in about 90 days with measurable gains like shorter CAPA cycles, faster product development, and stronger customer expansion, while reducing white-collar costs by 15–30%.
