Software Engineer - Test Automation
About the job
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience testing web applications built with Node.js and React.js.
- Mandatory banking domain expertise.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform end-to-end, functional, and regression automation testing.
- Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications developed using Node.js and React.js.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects across the testing lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing utilities.
- Integrate automated tests with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Adhere to quality standards, compliance requirements, and banking regulations.
- Experience with Selenium using Java.
- Knowledge of Finacle or other core banking platforms.
- Exposure to application programming interface testing and performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
