About the Company

ImmunityBio

Develops immunotherapies for cancer and infections

ImmunityBio develops immunotherapies to treat cancer and infectious diseases by boosting the body's immune system, using natural killer (NK) cell–based therapies and viral vector vaccines. Its treatments train or arm immune cells to recognize and attack cancer cells or infections, with some therapies advancing through clinical trials for safety and tolerability. The company differentiates itself by focusing on immune-system–enhancing approaches aimed at hard-to-treat cancers and infectious diseases. Its goal is to outsmart diseases by leveraging the body's natural defenses to offer new options for patients with limited treatment choices.
