Requirements
  • JD Degree
  • Member in good standing of any State Bar
  • 2-4 years of legal experience representing healthcare companies, life sciences companies, or CROs
  • Experience advising on legal and contractual issues for data licensing and clinical studies
  • Experience drafting and negotiating various agreements
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to provide clear legal advice
  • Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight time pressures
  • Demonstrated track record of working collaboratively
  • Intellectually nimble thinker and highly adaptable
Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support across the company
  • Lead drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing corporate and commercial transactions
  • Represent Flatiron in interactions with clients, partners, and vendors
  • Review and analyze legal risks and opportunities
  • Assist with healthcare regulatory matters
  • Develop and maintain template agreements
  • Build training processes for legal compliance
