Requirements
- Experience with large distributed applications and building and operating highly available systems.
- Core competency in Java, Extensible Markup Language, Hypertext Transfer Protocol, and web services using Representational State Transfer and Simple Object Access Protocol.
- Strong working knowledge of the Spring framework.
- Experience with HyperText Markup Language, jQuery, JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library, JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, and front-end frameworks.
- Experience building web applications for mobile devices.
- Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design, including security-based implementations.
- Strong experience implementing transaction management and persistence using lightweight frameworks such as Java Persistence API and Hibernate.
- Strong data modeling and database programming skills.
- Understanding of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol networks and concepts, with the ability to provide basic troubleshooting assistance to infrastructure disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Manage onsite and offshore teams.
- Coordinate work across teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Present to agencies, vendors, and top management.
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle database and Procedural Language/Structured Query Language experience.
- Experience with Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Familiarity with UNIX systems, including the system security model, systems administration, and advanced scripting skills.
