Builds equipment and software for electric power
Model Architecture: Develop high-fidelity simulations replicating complex business environments (supply chains, operational workflows, market/demand shifts) grounded in a detailed understanding of current-state (as-is) operations
Scenario Analysis: Use models to stress-test initiatives, quantify risk, and project the impact of variables like resource constraints, OEE drift, or economic fluctuations
Translating Insights: Convert raw, stochastic simulation outputs into clear, objective, decision-ready recommendations for executives and program leadership.
Support the lean transformation roadmap by validating process and capacity scenarios ahead of investment decisions
Build high-value business cases for capital investment (headcount, layout, capacity) grounded in simulation-validated data
Support Kaizens and continuous improvement projects with scenario modeling, what-if analysis, and efficiency recommendations
Validate and refine models iteratively against real production data to maintain accuracy over time
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
3-6 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or lean/operations excellence roles
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (VSM, takt time, line balancing, standard work)
Hands-on experience with DES or business/process simulation tools (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim, Arena, Simio)
Experience with data cleaning and statistical analysis such as t-testing, ANOVA, and regression.
Demonstrated ability to translate operational data into quantitative models and back into business recommendations
Experience supporting Greenfield site design, Brownfield capacity/efficiency projects, or automation business-case validation
Strong data analysis skills to convert production/operational data into model inputs
Ability to communicate complex, stochastic simulation results simply and objectively to non-technical/executive stakeholders
Comfort working directly with plant/site teams to gather ground-truth process data
Intellectual curiosity and a builder's mindset; energized by creating new modeling approaches and simulation capabilities in a function that is still taking shape, rather than following an established playbook

Builds equipment and software for electric power
GE Vernova makes equipment and software that generate and manage electricity for utilities, power producers, and industrial customers. Its Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses span gas turbines, wind generation, and the systems that move electricity across grids. The company supplies generators, grid equipment, and controls, while its software coordinates network operations and integrates changing sources of power. Customers buy equipment and enter service agreements for maintenance, upgrades, and technical support over its operating life, alongside purchases of software and related services. GE Vernova became an independent company in 2024 after separating from GE and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
