Voksha data: 7 in 10 small business calls are repetitive and automatable.

Voksha data: 7 in 10 small business calls are repetitive and automatable. August 06, 2026, 22:37 GMT Voksha analysis of 1M+ calls shows routine inquiries like hours, pricing and booking cost small business owners 15+ hours per week. When 7 out of 10 calls are someone asking what time you close or how much a service costs, that's 15 hours a week you could spend on the work that actually grows your business." - Avi Nash, VP of Growth at Voksha LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ - Voksha (voksha.com), the AI receptionist platform for small businesses and SaaS companies, today published findings from its analysis of more than 1 million inbound business calls handled since December 2025. The data shows that roughly 7 in 10 calls to small businesses are repetitive inquiries that an AI receptionist can resolve without human involvement. These include questions about business hours, pricing, available services and appointment booking. The finding points to a growing productivity gap for small business owners who still answer their own phones or rely on voicemail. Industry data shows that 80 percent of callers will not leave a voicemail and 85 percent of those callers never call back, meaning each missed or mishandled call carries real revenue risk. "Small business owners don't have a phone problem. They have a time problem," said Avi Nash, VP of Growth at Voksha. "When 7 out of 10 calls are someone asking what time you close or how much a service costs, that's 15 hours a week you could spend on the work that actually grows your business. An AI receptionist handles those calls instantly, in a natural human voice, 24 hours a day." Key findings from Voksha's call data: - 70 percent of inbound calls to small businesses on the platform are repetitive, automatable inquiries. - The four most common call types are business hours (22%), pricing and quotes (19%), service availability (17%) and appointment booking (12%). - Average call resolution time for AI-handled repetitive calls is under 90 seconds, compared to 4 to 6 minutes when handled by a human receptionist. - After-hours calls account for 34 percent of total volume. These are calls that go entirely unanswered without an AI receptionist. - 1 in 3 calls are not in English, consistent with Voksha's previously published multilingual research. How Voksha works: Voksha is an AI-powered phone receptionist that answers business calls in a natural human voice, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The platform handles appointment booking with real-time calendar integration (Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar), lead capture and qualification, call routing, and answers to frequently asked questions. No technical setup is required. Business owners forward their existing phone number to Voksha and are operational within minutes. Voksha integrates with the tools businesses already use, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and more than 78 other platforms. The system supports over 200 languages and includes built-in social engineering protection and HIPAA-compliant call handling for healthcare practices. Route Mobile (NSE:ROUTE): what does its new salesforce-native messaging app mean? You are reading a free article with opinions that may differ from the recommendation given by Kalkine in its paid research reports. Become a Kalkine member today to get access to its research reports, in-depth technical and fundamental research. Learn More Route Mobile Limited (NSE:ROUTE) announced on 6 August 2026, via a Regulation 30 filing, the launch of a new omnichannel messaging application on the Salesforce AgentExchange, enabling enterprises to send SMS and WhatsApp messages directly from within any Salesforce Cloud environment. Key highlights. * Route Mobile has listed a new messaging application on Salesforce AgentExchange, allowing global SMS and WhatsApp delivery without custom development or external infrastructure. * All customer data remains within the user's own Salesforce environment and is never stored on external servers, addressing a critical compliance requirement for regulated industries. * The app is delivered via Route Mobile APIs and reaches customers across 190-plus countries through the company's direct carrier network. * AI-driven features including intent-scoring, message personalisation, and timing optimisation are incorporated to support more targeted customer engagement. About the company. Route Mobile Limited (NSE:ROUTE, BSE:543228), established in 2004 and headquartered in Mumbai, is a cloud communications platform service provider offering messaging, voice, email, SMS filtering, analytics, and monetisation solutions. It serves enterprises, OTT players, and mobile network operators across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Route Mobile is a Proximus Group company. Announcement in detail. Under Regulation 30 of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, Route Mobile filed a press release on 6 August 2026 disclosing the launch of its Salesforce-native messaging app on AgentExchange. The application enables Salesforce users to send SMS and WhatsApp messages from within any Salesforce Cloud instance without requiring custom development or external server infrastructure. The app supports conversational one-to-one texting, bulk messaging from Salesforce Reports and Campaigns, automated messaging via Flows and Process Builder, and built-in delivery analytics. CEO Tushar Agnihotri stated the solution brings Route Mobile's global messaging capability into one of the world's most widely used CRM environments. VP CPaaS George Kakhadze noted that SMS open rates run at approximately 98%, compared with roughly 20% for email. Impact on investors. Investors will note that the launch represents a product distribution expansion for Route Mobile, placing its CPaaS offering directly within the Salesforce ecosystem, which the company describes as the world's most widely used CRM platform. The filing shows no financial terms, revenue commitments, or partnership fee disclosures, so the direct near-term revenue contribution cannot be quantified from this announcement alone. Shareholders will observe that the data-residency feature, where all customer data stays within the client's Salesforce environment, positions the product for adoption in regulated industries such as banking and financial services, sectors already identified in Route Mobile's annual reports as core enterprise client segments. The disclosed terms indicate this is a product availability announcement, not a contracted order or revenue guidance update. Sector / market context. India's CPaaS market has grown alongside broader enterprise digital transformation initiatives, with messaging platforms increasingly integrated into CRM and customer engagement workflows. According to industry data cited by TRAI and sector bodies, enterprise SMS volumes in India have risen consistently as businesses expand automated customer communications. The global CPaaS segment, which includes players such as Twilio, Sinch, and Infobip alongside Route Mobile, has seen demand accelerate as enterprises prioritise direct-carrier messaging channels over email-first outreach, a trend the company's press release references in citing the 98% SMS open-rate statistic attributed to VP CPaaS George Kakhadze. Software stocks show 'most disconnected sell-off since late 1990s' despite strong AI demand

Tech analyst Dan Ives described the recent software stock sell-off as the most disconnected from business fundamentals since the late 1990s, despite fears of AI competition. Microsoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow have underperformed the broader market this year, with declines of up to 29%. Recent earnings support Ives' bullish stance. Microsoft reported 18% year-over-year revenue growth, with paid Microsoft 365 Copilot seats exceeding 30 million. ServiceNow's subscription revenue grew 23% in constant currency, closing 123 deals over $1 million. Salesforce beat analyst estimates with 14% revenue growth and signed a record 98 deals worth over $1 million in new annual contract value. The results suggest customers are turning to established software providers for AI integration and security, validating these companies' central role in AI infrastructure.
