Requirements
  • A diploma from an accredited ultrasound program is required.
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario is required.
  • Active membership with the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals is required.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
  • A proven attendance record.
  • Understanding of and compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.

Responsibilities
  • Produce excellent ultrasound images of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active membership with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is preferred.
  • Active membership with the Ontario Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of current related hospital experience is preferred.
  • Experience in ultrasound, specifically obstetrics and gynecology, abdominal, and small-parts imaging.
  • Vascular experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience within the Ultrasonographer classification.
