The Opportunity: Brand Success Specialist - Social Commerce
We’re looking for a highly skilled and business-savvy Brand Success Specialist - Social Commerce to help drive our mission forward. If you have a passion for consumer-facing start-ups, this is your chance to shape the future of social commerce at Flip.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the long-term growth of brands on Flip. You will be responsible for curating a robust and high-quality assortment of brands, ensuring competitive pricing, and maximizing total margin growth, including both product margins and ad revenues. Your role is crucial in maintaining a healthy supply. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to short-term challenges and the ability to execute swiftly in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with many brand interactions.
Location: Office based out of our Los Angeles HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand calls: high volume of client interactions (calls & emails) from the moment they are live and specific opportunities with existing ones to ensure a full assortment of products, secure exclusive deals, and collaborate on optimizations for top sellers.
- GMV: expanding the selection of products among selected brands, optimizing pricing strategies and maximizing content.
- Revenue Growth through Storytelling: Leverage your excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively re-negotiate margins, using compelling narratives that resonate with brand partners.
- Prioritization: Your ability to act quickly and effectively is key in navigating the fast-paced nature of a startup environment is key to prioritize tasks, clients, service level, streamline processes, and troubleshoot challenges to drive a high customer satisfaction.
Success Criteria:
- Influence actions from brands to help maximize the above such as: more and better assortment, deals, content and others maintaining a healthy and diverse supply and a well-distributed pricing structure to drive Retention.
- Achieving sustained growth in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and driving the growth of Total Margin.
Key Requirements:
- Volume: experience performing a high volume of calls, and ability to schedule, prepare and perform a high volume of client interactions (calls and the work to make them happen) with energy.
- Influence brands: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, to drive changes on assortment, adept at re-negotiating deals, free products, margins through compelling storytelling.
- Prioritization skills: Highly organized with a keen ability to prioritize across various topics and manage a diverse portfolio of brands effectively.

Base salary and total compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please note the base salary is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
