Requirements
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • Applicants must have regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and crawl in small, tight spaces.
  • Applicants must be able to access attic or crawl spaces through a 22-by-30-inch opening.
  • Applicants must be able to safely climb and descend or work from ladders, scaffolding, or attic stairs.
  • Applicants must be proficient in using staple guns, hammers, utility knives, power tools, and industrial vacuums or blowers.
  • Applicants must be able to properly use personal protective equipment, including respirators, masks, protective eyewear, sound-dampening headphones, utility gloves, Tyvek suits, and knee pads.
  • Applicants must have communication and customer service skills for interacting with customers.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record within the past five years.
Responsibilities
  • Install insulation.
  • Conduct rodent proofing and sanitation.
  • Perform mold remediation.
  • Assist with sheetrock and drywall installation and repair.
  • Complete other project tasks needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Attend department safety meetings.
  • Load trucks and prepare materials based on the job scope of work.
  • Review the day's jobs with crew leads.
  • Perform assigned work at the job site.
  • Return to the office to unload and clean the trucks.

  • Previous insulation or rodent-control experience is strongly preferred.
