Requirements
  • Experience in product security, application security, software engineering, penetration testing, or another role involving how applications are built and broken.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, follow data flows, identify trust boundaries, and locate security risks.
  • Knowledge of threat modeling, architecture review, and application assessment.
  • Ability to validate vulnerabilities, determine exploitability, and explain security impact to technical and business audiences.
  • Comfort working with APIs, cloud services, containers, serverless technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with security tooling such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret scanning, or infrastructure-as-code scanning.
  • Ability to read and write code and automate repetitive security work using Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Ability to balance security, customer impact, engineering effort, and business priorities.
  • Experience securing AI-enabled products, agents, large language model applications, or MCP integrations.
  • Deep experience with identity, authentication, authorization, or multi-tenant application security.
  • Experience applying frameworks such as the OWASP Top 10, OWASP MCP Top 10, OWASP ASVS, or NIST in real-world environments.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assess new products and technologies and lead threat modeling and security design reviews.
  • Analyze application architecture, APIs, authentication, authorization, data flows, cloud services, and third-party integrations.
  • Find and validate vulnerabilities, distinguish real risk from noise, and help teams prioritize remediation.
  • Work with engineers to design remediation plans that protect customers while maintaining development velocity.
  • Own and improve security tooling across the development lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secret scanning.
  • Tune security tools and workflows to reduce false positives and provide useful findings.
  • Build automation to scale Product Security as products, engineering teams, and AI usage grow.
  • Create security standards, secure design patterns, coding guidance, and engineering documentation.
  • Help lead response to product security issues from investigation and containment through root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams on security decisions and practical solutions.
  • Assess emerging risks across cloud and AI-enabled products and prepare for novel attack techniques.
