An ECS gold card is essential.

Experience as an Electrical Supervisor and site managing electrical projects is required.
Experience within water or heavy industrial industries is required.
An appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification is required.
The candidate must be fit to work medically; the medical can be completed upon starting employment.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a team of electricians across programmes of work in the South East region.
Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671, Bridges Health & Safety Rules, and Essential Standards.
Ensure that all items are installed to high standards and comply with the project quality plan and inspection and test plans.
Follow and actively promote STAR dynamic risk assessment procedures and stop work when unsafe circumstances arise.
Coach and mentor electricians, electrical improvers or mates, and apprentices.
Promote Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
Promote positive health and well-being among peers.
Act professionally and support business goals while maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
Desired Qualifications
PASMA or IPAF certification.
Confined-space experience or certification.
COMPEX certification.
EUSR water hygiene certification.
Thames Water passport.
Inspection and testing certification.

Purpose of the Role
To oversee and manage a team of electricians on a number of programmes of work to be completed across the South East region.
The Role
This is a permanent job role.
Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid.
You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.
Company van provided, with fuel card issued.
To be responsible for supervising electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans
To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise
To coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
Promote positive health and well-being amongst their peer
To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
