Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or an additional five years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience as an allowable substitution.
  • Ten years of experience in integrated Integrated Logistics Support or maintenance activity for aeronautical weapon systems acquisition programs.
  • At least one year of defense acquisition management experience obtained within the last five years.
  • Work schedule flexibility to support client and operational requirements, including potentially fluid work hours and telework flexibility.
Responsibilities
  • Provide acquisition program support and in-service logistics support to the NAVAIR PMA-275 V-22 Osprey Joint Program.
  • Provide integrated logistics support to the V-22 Weapon System Program Manager at the Defense Supply Center.
  • Support subject matter experts for Integrated Product Support areas of aviation supply planning, including Defense Logistics Agency consumables status.
  • Support Defense Logistics Agency personnel with the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems.
  • Support logistics and maintainability programs and logistics and maintenance control organizations with technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; weapon systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support and Reliability and Maintainability program planning and status; and Integrated Logistics Support and Reliability and Maintainability program management analysis.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or supply data and information.
  • Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation related to automated logistics or supply data reporting systems and management information systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Highly proficient use of the Microsoft Professional Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to assess established business processes, identify and document business process problems, and recommend business process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Defense Logistics Agency organization, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Critical Parts Review and Supply Support Working Groups.
  • Knowledge of Weapon System Designator Code information, SAP, FEDMALL, WEBCATS, FEDLOG, and WEBVLIPS.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills and strong team participation skills.
