Automotive Service Technician

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 2 years of automotive technician experience is required.
- Candidates must be proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Candidates must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins.
- Candidates must maintain attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Perform maintenance and service work according to manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure that all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing technical training.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or vocational training is preferred.
- Dealership experience is preferred.
- ASE certifications or manufacturer certifications are preferred.
