Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of network security experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information technology, computer architecture, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related experience, or equivalent military experience.
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and branch/center architectures.
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting Remote Access VPN solutions, including IPSEC, PKI, and SSL technologies.
  • Ability to independently debug complex networks with an advanced understanding of packet flow across multiple OSI layers.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking operations, including TCP/UDP, SNMP, IPv6, VLSM, CIDR, and NAT, and authentication protocols including LDAP, TACACS+, and Radius.
  • Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and GNS3.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert-level technical assistance to top-tier customers by resolving complex security issues through troubleshooting, configuration guidance, and best-practice implementation.
  • Own support cases from initiation through resolution, including multi-vendor troubleshooting, fault isolation, root cause analysis, documentation, and ticketing-system updates.
  • Communicate technical solutions to technical and executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with Account, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to address customer challenges and improve the customer experience.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and Account Case Reviews, including release planning, tailored recommendations, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Palo Alto Networks core technologies and identify product defects through lab replication, network simulation, and performance testing.
  • File bug reports, develop test plans, and improve software and hardware quality with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Facilitate hiring and onboarding through technical screenings and training on technical skills, soft skills, processes, and tools.
  • Author Technical Support Bulletins, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide rapid support in high-pressure situations, including travel to customer sites for critical issue resolution.
  • Use internal AI-powered diagnostic utilities, automated log analyzers, and machine learning tools to accelerate root-cause analysis and improve troubleshooting workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with virtualization technologies including AWS, Azure, VMware, and OpenStack.
  • Experience debugging Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, including editing registries and property lists.
  • Experience with Python or shell scripting.
  • Multi-vendor experience with Cisco Advanced Security Appliances, Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, Prisma Access, Cisco Firepower, Check Point firewalls, Cisco switches, and intrusion detection/intrusion prevention systems.

The firm noted that much of the recent growth stems from two acquisitions: the $25 billion purchase of CyberArk in February and the roughly $3.4 billion deal for Chronosphere. The company posted a GAAP net loss of $282 million for the quarter, driven by fair-value changes on convertible notes and integration costs.
