We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer to join our marketing team. The role will be in office based in Palo Alto. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the technical skills to capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content for various platforms - formal, informal, long and short form. This role involves collaborating with several internal and external teams, planning shoots, and ensuring that the final product meets our brand’s vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
Capture high-quality footage using professional video equipment.
Plan and execute shoots, including setting up lighting, audio, and camera angles.
Direct on-camera talent and coordinate with production teams during filming.
Work also includes creating and editing audio files only.
Editing & Post-Production:
Edit raw footage into polished final videos using industry-standard software.
Integrate graphics, animations, and sound design to enhance visual storytelling.
Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with creative directors, producers, and other team members to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
Collaborate with marketing teams to tailor video content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
Participate in creative meetings to contribute innovative ideas and improve production processes.
Project Management:
Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Communicate progress and challenges with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files.
Proactively seek content and work with internal and external parties.
Equipment & Maintenance:
Operate and maintain video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a videographer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Knowledge of shooting techniques, lighting, and sound recording.
Familiarity with digital camera operations and video equipment maintenance.
Shooting appropriate video and audio content for different channels - long, short, formal, informal
Soft Skills:
Creative eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well both independently and with others, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic production environments.
