- Prepare, file, and manage patent applications in collaboration with external patent law firms.
- Advise and support international research and development teams on intellectual property matters.
- Conduct patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and prior-art research.
- Monitor competitor patents and derive strategic recommendations.
- Manage the patent portfolio lifecycle, including decisions on maintenance and renewal.
- Maintain and administer the patent portfolio, including deadlines, fees, and official correspondence.
- Support research and development teams in identifying and documenting inventions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across research and development, legal, and business units at international locations.
- Prepare and present intellectual-property reports and analyses to management.
- Additional qualification in patent law, such as postgraduate study in patent law.
