Responsibilities
  • Prepare, file, and manage patent applications in collaboration with external patent law firms.
  • Advise and support international research and development teams on intellectual property matters.
  • Conduct patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and prior-art research.
  • Monitor competitor patents and derive strategic recommendations.
  • Manage the patent portfolio lifecycle, including decisions on maintenance and renewal.
  • Maintain and administer the patent portfolio, including deadlines, fees, and official correspondence.
  • Support research and development teams in identifying and documenting inventions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across research and development, legal, and business units at international locations.
  • Prepare and present intellectual-property reports and analyses to management.
