About the job

Requirements
  • Excellent written English and a strong editorial ear, with precision, range, personality, and the ability to adapt tone without losing clarity.
  • Understanding of fan behaviour, natural community responses, and when to engage, pause, or escalate, along with a genuine interest in television, film, and online culture.
  • Demonstrable hands-on use of AI agents in work, study, or personal projects, including building context, directing production and checks, rejecting weak output, and improving results.
  • Confidence working with editorial documents, social platforms, and AI tools.
  • Sound fact-checking and accessibility knowledge, with close attention to detail when working at speed.
  • A systems mindset and ownership, including identifying repeatable work, improving it, and following through.
  • Clear communication, reliable organisation, thoughtful asynchronous handovers, responsiveness to feedback, and the ability to learn new tools.
Responsibilities
  • Write engaging, on-brand social copy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other relevant platforms using AI tools and agentic workflows.
  • Review and refine social copy for clarity, accuracy, audience fit, platform, and purpose.
  • Learn each brand’s voice, audience, and subject matter deeply enough to judge AI output, and maintain and evolve tone-of-voice guidance, source context, and examples.
  • Fact-check against supplied sources and proofread all deliverables, including AI-assisted work; check names, claims, grammar, punctuation, links, accessibility, and platform-native formatting while maintaining rights and brand safety.
  • Pitch social content angles and approaches that improve engagement and visibility, applying copywriting best practices and using performance signals and feedback to improve the writing.
  • Engage communities daily by responding to comments and joining relevant conversations on fan, talent, and partner content while keeping replies timely, appropriate, and consistent with the brand.
  • Monitor culture, fandom, trends, and platform developments; identify timely engagement opportunities and feed conversation insights into copy and content ideas.
  • Use agents for repeatable work such as preparing copy variants, checking source material, and summarising community themes; critically review their work, make editorial decisions, and maintain records for handovers.
  • Prioritise deadlines and responsive community work, balance shared workloads across time zones, and adapt to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Improve workflows by encoding effective methods into reusable skills and agent workflows, teaching successful methods to teammates, testing new capabilities against real briefs, and updating shared methods when quality or reliability improves.
