  • Experience working in unique industries with complex business models, major competition, or interesting regulatory environments
  • Proven track record of driving business results via product marketing for growth companies with business and consumer audiences
  • Ability to articulate the essence of complex products and the value they create. Can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan.
  • Willingness and know-how to quickly, and deeply, understand the market (live event technology), our customers (teams, leagues, artists and fans) and competition
  • Knowledge of what great looks like – bringing in frameworks and playbooks for our team, while knowing when to create our own playbook to move fast and cut through the noise
  • Unafraid of rolling up your sleeves and diving into the work, be it creating messaging, pitch decks, or other assets along with your team members and direct reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting and sharing work with executive leadership
  • Leadership presence and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a large number of teams, especially product, marketing, creative and PR
  • Proactive self-starter with an ownership mentality. Solutions over problems, north-star over specific roadmap, and balancing analytical skills with gut decisions
Responsibilities
  • Craft differentiated, unified positioning, messaging, RTBs and go-to-market plans for our product solutions, with a prioritized focus on our enterprise audiences and their fans
  • Lead a team of product marketers through product launches that span from massively complex to small & additive
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our various clients (NFL, Arena, MLS, etc.) and the user profiles within them (Exec, Sales, Operations, Booking), the product-market fit of our products for each, our differentiators v. key competitors, and the biggest opportunities for us to grow
  • Establish SeatGeek as a thought leader in the live events industry by developing and pushing a strong POV and voice in the market
  • Create programs and content that help our clients get the most value out of SeatGeek products, and then work with B2B marketing to harness that value into case studies, testimonials and sales pitches. Contribute to core sales and marketing assets such as pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, and more
  • Maintain strong relationships with leaders across all relevant cross-functional domains to both enhance their work and successfully complete your own, including Product, Marketing, Comms, Sales, Client Success, Analytics, and Finance
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, high-energy, and collaborative PMM team, defining the right structure and size for SeatGeek, while making sure the team has fun along the way

SeatGeek operates as a major event ticket search engine, allowing users to search for, compare, and purchase tickets for a wide range of events, including concerts, theater performances, comedy shows, and sports events. The platform aggregates ticket listings from various sellers, enabling users to easily compare prices and seating options to find the best deals. This user-friendly interface sets SeatGeek apart from its competitors in the ticketing market. The company earns revenue primarily through commissions on ticket sales, as well as through advertising and partnerships with event organizers and venues. SeatGeek aims to simplify the ticket-buying process for consumers while helping event organizers reach a larger audience.
