Requirements
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of payroll experience, preferably with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, or Paychex and HRIS platforms.
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in reviewing and validating payroll data prior to submission, including timekeeping records, deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.
  • Audit payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the vendor and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Maintain payroll documentation and records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support year-end processes including W-2 review, tax filings, and audits.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and processes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and participate in periodic reviews and evaluations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • FPC or Certified Payroll Professional certification.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
