Skechers CFO John Vandemore joins Levi's as it targets $10B revenue goal

Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed John Vandemore as its new chief financial officer, effective 1 November. Vandemore spent nearly a decade as CFO at Skechers, where he helped grow revenues from $4 billion in 2017 to $10 billion last year. Before Skechers, Vandemore held finance and operations roles at Mattel, The Walt Disney Company and International Game Technology. He replaces Harmit Singh, whose retirement was announced earlier this year. Levi's CEO Michelle Gass said Vandemore joins "at a pivotal moment" as the company works to transform into "the world's leading denim lifestyle retailer" and reach $10 billion in revenues. The denim maker is focusing on growing its direct-to-consumer business, which provided just over half of revenues last quarter.

CF Chinook Centre continues transformation with wave of new openings including SportChek, WINNERS and Old Navy. Cadillac Fairview (CF) is thrilled to celebrate the evolution of CF Chinook Centre with the addition of three iconic brands, including SportChek, WINNERS and Old Navy. CALGARY, AB (September 29, 2026) - Cadillac Fairview (CF) is thrilled to celebrate the evolution of CF Chinook Centre with the addition of three iconic brands, including SportChek, WINNERS and Old Navy. "CF Chinook Centre continues to undergo a transformation with the introduction of exciting new retailers to the centre," said Darren Milne, General Manager, CF Chinook Centre. "We're proud to continually reimagine our tenant mix to provide a vibrant and unparalleled shopping experience for our guests." SportChek will be taking over 66,000 square feet of space across the upper level of the shopping centre with a new "Destination Sport" location slated to open in Spring 2027. This move reflects the brand's continued investment in building athlete-led stores in key communities, creating a bigger, better, and more seamless experience for customers with expanded assortments, sport-focused shopping zones, enhanced brand experiences, and elevated in-store services. Joining the new retail mix, WINNERS is planned to open in Spring 2027, further elevating the shopping experience at CF Chinook Centre with its off-price apparel and home fashion offerings across 33,000 square feet of space on the lower level of the shopping centre. Adding to the momentum, the newly relocated Old Navy store is set to open in November 2026 on the lower level of the former Nordstrom space. The new store offers 15,000 square feet of fashion and value for the whole family, with plans for exciting grand opening customer experiences. These major openings are complemented by recent retail additions and enhancements across the property as part of the centre's ongoing transformation. Recent openings include Shake Shack's first Western Canada location, The North Face, Skechers, and Abercrombie & Fitch. Looking ahead, shoppers can look forward to upcoming arrivals such as Hollister, Wing Stop, Chipotle, New Balance, as well as the relocation of Sleep Country. Further announcements regarding additional new retailers are expected in the near future as CF continues to invest in delivering a premier shopping destination for Calgarians. Skechers names former Puma NA chief Tara McRae as Chief Marketing Officer.

Skechers names former Puma NA chief Tara McRae as Chief Marketing Officer. September 15, 2026 The leadership changes continue at Puma as Tara McRae leaves her post as president for Puma North America (PNA) for the chief marketing officer role at Skechers. McRae revealed the appointment in a LinkedIn post. After leaving the cat last Friday, I hopped on a plane to Manhattan Beach over the weekend. This week, I started a new chapter as Chief Marketing Officer of Skechers. I'm only a week in, but I'm already blown away by the brand, the product, the ambition - and most importantly, the people. There is an incredible team here, with so much talent, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit. Skechers has carved out a massive piece of the global footwear market by unapologetically doing its own thing since 1992. Getting to work with the founders and many of the team who has been here since the early days, along side a bunch of other newbies - has been awesome. I'm excited to roll up my sleeves, get to know everyone, and get to work. New company. New challenge. New team. Same love of shoes, consumers, and growing a sustainable businesses. Couldn't be more excited for this journey. McRae rejoined Puma in 2024 to lead Puma's marketing and brand strategy in North America and had been president of Puma North America since April 2025. Prior to rejoining Puma, she worked at Clarks as the global chief marketing officer and digital officer. She also became the first chief marketing officer at TB12, Tom Brady's global health and wellness brand. She worked at Puma North America between 2006 and 2016, where she held different positions in the media planning and sports marketing departments before taking on marketing responsibilities for the region. McRae is also a strategic advisor for Relentless Consumer Partners and a non-executive board member at El Nacho Tortilla Chips. Her work has been recognized in multiple leading industry awards, most notably as a member of the 2024 Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 50 list. Image courtesy Puma SE
