Requirements
  • No previous cleaning experience is required.
  • Knowledge, skill, and mental ability equivalent to completion of two years of high school are required.
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions is required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies is required.
  • The ability to work independently without direct supervision is required.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service is required.
  • The ability to walk and stand throughout the work shift is required.
  • The ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work activities is required.
  • The ability to intermittently lift 25–35 pounds during the workday is required.
  • Weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays, may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of hotel cleaning services to maintain guest rooms according to established standards.
  • Visually inspect rooms to help identify required maintenance items.
  • Assist guests by providing bedding, towels, amenities, or requested information.
  • Assist with laundry and clean public areas when needed.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints while providing courteous service.
  • Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
