Responsibilities
  • Support the identification and resolution of automation and information technology hardware and software issues to maintain at least 99% system availability.
  • Administer and maintain Windows-based servers, including daily system checks, and record all findings and statuses.
  • Apply the latest DISA STIGs to Microsoft Windows Server and installed features and applications within 30 calendar days of release.
  • Apply vendor security updates and hotfixes to address ACAS findings and organizational security mandates within 14 calendar days.
  • Provide system matrices covering supported systems and applications, utilization, uptime, storage availability, and performance.
  • Deploy in-house developed, commercial off-the-shelf, and government off-the-shelf applications to production, integration, and staging servers within two business days.
  • Conduct system upgrades and complete the planning phase within 15 business days of an upgrade request.
  • Maintain the availability and accessibility of approximately 20 Microsoft IIS websites across five networks.
  • Provide Continuity of Operations planning, evaluation, and execution twice annually.
  • Notify the Government of unscheduled outages within 30 minutes and record them in the operations log within four hours.
  • Provide after-hours on-site support with a two-hour response time.
  • Monitor and manage trouble tickets assigned to the Systems Administration branch.
  • Install, configure, administer, and monitor end-user IT automation equipment, including baseline imaging, performance optimization, patching, and updating.
  • Maintain and check conference rooms to ensure computer, video teleconference, and voice IT equipment are operational.
  • Identify, prioritize, track, and resolve end-user automation hardware and software issues to maintain 99% system availability.
  • Provide comprehensive inventory and automation capability matrices monthly or as requested.
  • Analyze technical support requests and provide solutions within 10 business days of receipt.
  • Coordinate with the Property Book Office to manage equipment issue and turn-in processes for end-user IT equipment.
  • Perform daily printer management duties, including paper and toner supply maintenance.
