Richmond Hospital is a busy 200+ bed community teaching hospital in the heart of the culturally diverse city of Richmond, BC. It is near the Vancouver airport and a short 20-minute drive to downtown Vancouver. We are a part of Vancouver Coastal Health and we see approximately 60,000 ED visits per year. The hospital is fully supported by most services and within very close proximity to those services not on-site. In the Emergency Department, we currently have 33 permanent members as well as locums on staff and have 12 scheduled shifts per day. We see a diverse mix of both adult and paediatric patients. We are looking for interested emergency physicians to join our group as a permanent member.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Mandatory
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)- Desired
• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC)- Full
• Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine- Mandatory
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)- Mandatory
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)- Mandatory
