Responsibilities
Practice primarily at Colliers Way Professional Plaza, 701 Colliers Way, Weirton, West Virginia.
Provide gastroenterology and hepatology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide advanced endoscopic procedures and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography services.
Provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as assigned based on operational needs.

Gastroenterologist
System Medical Group seeks a Gastroenterologist. The successful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice in the primary location of Colliers Way Professional Plaza- 701 Colliers Way Weirton, WV.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship and be board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Our GI and Hepatology service line of professionals offer a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, treats a medically diverse population, and has exposure to clinically challenging cases. We have a new and expanding endoscopy center including state-of-the-art suites for advanced procedures and ERCPs, as well as close access to adjacent specialty clinics.
The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer.
