Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze energy data, trends, and insights critical to project outcomes.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must either hold or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, such as Secret Fcl, Top Secret Fcl, or DOE Q.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of public-comment analysis and reporting processes.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize public comments and stakeholder feedback to support policy development and decision-making.
  • Provide public-comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report development support.
  • Maintain and use data-tracking tools.
  • Support workforce policy analysis and convening.
  • Provide energy-market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services to the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Develop analyses and support initiatives while ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Contribute to the documentation and dissemination of energy solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Department of Energy objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration and high-level Department of Energy strategy discussions.

  • Subject-matter expertise in energy and policy domains.
  • Experience with analytical thinking and technical expertise.
