- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Linux server management and troubleshooting, including system setup, account management, file services, network configuration, license management, application hosting, and end-user application support.

- Under minimal direction, troubleshoot centralized and distributed physical and virtual Linux servers by applying technical and operational knowledge to configure, operate, and maintain information processing and telecommunication systems, and analyze performance statistics to support tuning, automation, and optimization activities.
- Administer Linux servers, including patching and security compliance requirements, and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Participate in customer projects by providing technical expertise in system upgrades, process improvements, adherence to security requirements, and infrastructure improvements.
- Previous classified support experience.
- Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guidance compliance.
- Experience with VMware.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Experience with scripting.
- Experience interfacing with vendors.

Edgewater wins IT managed services contract with Argonne National Laboratory. Edgewater Federal Solutions has won a 5-year contract to be the IT managed service provider for Argonne National Laboratory. Argonne is operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC, for the Energy Department. The 1,500-acre campus employs over 4,500 people, including approximately 1,600 scientists and engineers. Under the contract, Edgewater will deliver comprehensive managed IT services to support Argonne's critical research mission across energy, environment, national security and STEM disciplines, the company said. "We are honored to partner with Argonne National Laboratory in support of its vital research mission," said Rodger Jones, Energy+ president of Edgewater Federal Solutions. "This award expands our footprint across the DOE's national laboratory complex. Our growing presence in this space underscores our commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and mission-focused IT services that enable scientific discovery at the highest level." Edgewater's services include service desk operations, on-site and remote end-user support, integrated IT and audio-visual services, and management of Argonne's ITSM platform to provide a scalable, flexible and resilient hybrid support model.
